  1. not defending anyone - just giving sammy an answer. you can make what you will of the info.... or not. FWIW of Platt's 62 caps 7 were sub appearances.
  2. 10 in 26 not bad - 4 of those games he was subbed at HT (good old Sven), 2 subbed at 60 minutes and one he came on as a sub with 2 minutes left closer to 1 in 2. Of his 38 caps 8 were where he came on as sub.

  8. i don't have a problem with pointing out players faults just as long as that doesn't become the sum total of what that player is about. phrases like without Makalele he?s average ? is simply bolllocks No dynamism ? Like Scholes without the aerial ability or vision ? 14 assists last season = no vision? your comments on Lampard's abilities i pretty much concur with he is an exceptional goalscoring midfielder but the fact he's aided in that by team-mates and formations employed by Mourinho are not reasons for criticism. I'm sure Terry Mac wouldn't have scored all the goals he did for us were it not for playing alongside a kick ass MoFo in Souness. It didn't make McDermott average without him.
  9. i think when you've not won the title for 50 years you take it any way you can
  10. Damn right he's nervous - we're a fecking good side too, a brilliant manager, players that are improving all the time and with the confidence and experience of knocking them out of the Champions League before winning it last year, the Reds are most definitely coming up the hill... but in slagging off what clearly (for the time being at least) is still the No.1 side in the country, blaming the media for the plaudits that are coming Lampard's way you look like you've not got a clue. Posts merged: i wouldn't call any of their players geniuses, there's certainly no Zidane or Ronaldinho type in their side but there's miles more quality to their players and their play than they're ever given credit for on here.
  11. aye and these schitty over-rated players didn't win the League title last year with a record number of points, the European Footballer of the Year award only counts when Owen wins wearing Liverpool colours, Lampard certainly never scores with his head like against France in Euro 2004, Mourinho has no plan B and so won the UEFA Cup, Champions League and English Premiership with one set of hoof it tactics. Terry and Lampard are only rated by the media and therefore their fellow professionals voting them No.1 & 2 Footballers of the Year last season should be ignored...... laughable schite being posted by you guys about Chelsea again. Carragher has it in him to admit "they are a teriffic side" (as he did on Wednesday)what's wrong with the rest of you?
  12. depends if you're comparing him to Did Hamann or Stevie G..... or if you insist on wearing a bag on your head when watching him play.
  13. i wonder if he'll write out the £10grand cheque before or after he pens his next article....
  14. Fined £10,000
  15. the problem is they're a feckin good team full of quality players. Every side they've encountered this season has tried to stifle them and they've hit 34 goals in 15 games.
  16. 16 ? knowing that is one thing doing it for 90 minutes successfully is quite another.
  17. those are the ones on target, as it turns out (more than any other player in the League). He's not missed with 118 shots in 15 games though. Posts merged: and Beckham
  18. totally agree
  19. leave Crouch out of this
  20. 7 goals (from open play) from 32 shots in the league this season Gerrard has 2 from 16 just in case you wanted the facts
