I did that in New Hampshire to a couple of Mancs who had a total change of heart after reading it. If people are open to it thay can change their mind - if they aren't then no amount of facts matter. OM - i appreciate the comments - and more so the fact that you were open minded enough to learn about the disiaster and why LFC fans felt as they did - even if the depths of what happened wasn;t obvious. It is also possible that the insurance would only be valid if SW obtained a safety cert. The insurance would still be issued anyway and SW would provide it later - not having all the docs are the begining of the insurance isn't unusual (especially if it is a multi year policy). Royal not not have checked to see if they ever recieved the cert. Or it may have checked and not done anythign about it. Or it may have remined SW and they didn;t bother getting it done. You can't tell unless the underwriting file is ever produced - and that file belongs to the Underwriter - not to SWFC. IF SWFC were sued then it may be possible to get the file - plus that of the broker if there was one. until that point it remains confidential, which is why Royal wouldn't have released it.

theres a lot of people spent a lot of time, money, energy and parts of their soul fighting the establishment over Hillsborough. Today the veil of silence and lies has been pierced for us all to see. A lot of evidence is going to be revealed - maybe not all, maybe not enough for all, but finally those who have fought the fight for justice, against the odds, may have the weapons they need to bring justice to bear. A lot of people who fought the fight have been broken over this - I hope that this restores their strength. I have nothing but admiration for those that put themselves out there in the public spotlight when a day like this seemed impossible. I have no words to express what I feel for the people who were there for over 20 years , being thought of as madmen and nutjobs. For some the price has been steep. For everyone who did something, anything, for progress the fight for Justice - thank you. Justice has not been delivered yet. But it will be. JFT96.

I see Shef Wed apologised.. I don;t see any mention of them involved regarding changes to the ground that were made and not reported to the emergency services - especially at the leppings lane end. So even if the first major incident plan had been implemented it may well have failed due to the failure of the Club to report changes. just throwing this out as I remember it - I haven't gone through this stuff in some detail for a while.

those who believed the lies , despite what has been put in front of them, will probably continue to do so. Education will be a long slow and frustrating process. People don't change overnight. It will be easier to educate those with no knowledge than it will be to sway those with entranched views. 23 years of believe in something won't be changed immediately because of a few more facts.
