That is pretty much Chelsea's strongest team, happy with our line up, good old 4-2-3-1, it is interesting to see Rafa prefers to use Arbeloa/Aurelio in the European games and Riise/Finnan in the League.
The original offence took place on the 8th March, it has been almost two months since that said offence and as of yet no fine or ban. How can any ban given be justified if the FA set it after the title has been clinched or at the beginning of next season? Ridiculous it has given the Mancs an unfair advantage when they should have been punished.
Just checked, Venison wasn't even in the squad, don't know why I mentioned it. Larry Lloyd is a great shout, wasn't that the final when Forest won a penalty and the foul was committed about 5 yards outside the area? So it is still eight.
That is 7 then...... Ray Clemence (Spurs 82) Terry McDermott (Newcastle 74) Ray Kennedy (Arsenal 71) Michael Thomas (Arsenal 87) Barry Venison (Sunderland 92) Jason McAteer (Bolton 94) John Scales (Wimbledon 88)
Its wrapped up can't see us dropping 9 points and losing our last three league games while Everton win all theirs. Very healthy goal difference and our goals scored column is the best it has ever been under Rafa in the League.
This is a good game for Rafa to have really, it will give him a chance to evaluate and look at his fringe/squad players. Look at who is up for the fight, wants to have a future at this football club.
