Possibly to get it over the line but it won’t be anywhere near the full amount
-
They can’t demand it all upfront Its not a release clause and UEFA state that any contract payments must be done over the term of the players contract
-
Well they employed him from Bournemouth but to be fair he is Edward’s best mate
-
Well he runs a lot but can he accept the ball and pass it forward Hes cheap at 33 million so we will probably go for him
-
I know that it’s just people have been quoting weekly as against monthly so I was just showing it does make a difference
-
It’s 9990 pound a month more if it’s monthly as against weekly There’s 30 and 31 days in a month so it’s quite considerable if you then times it by 12 it’s an extra 150000 pound a year quite a lot of money to us but not so much I suppose for them
-
It's a sponsorship with vauxhall motors

its well known or at least should be by now that there is no itk on these forums all they do is pick up snippets from papers or twitter forums and then just post that they got a text off a mate .Well if somebody text me and told me something about lfc the first thing i would do is ring them and find out what they knew. Its pointless getting involved with them They are sad individuals who are attention seeking. A true ITK tells you something that no one knew about before it has reached the papers. The only person on here who used to do that was scott and he has stopped posting now. Forget them read it laugh at there inferiority complex and move on. Until they have that scarf above there head dont believe anything its easier.

Fair enough that is your opinion I have another we will just have to agree to disagree
-
Or they could both be wrongDont believe anyone on an internet forum is getting information that could possibly put any deal of this size in jeopardy No one involved or having dealings with this would give any confidential information to anyone who was not direcly involved in the process and would never give it to anyone who then proceeds to pass it on to a website in full view of thousands of people Just isnt going to happen Just my opinion of course

Correct Don vito Corleone He is the one spouting about the china links Unfortunatley it is not as clear cut as he was making out it to be it would appear

Latest from SMTM on TIA Was much about nothing. It was to do with a PR company who is being retained in the next three weeks by Tom Hicks with a specific mandate. (but it is LFC related) Sorry it's nothing earth shattering Although surprise surprise its was a significant movement from this same source only a couple of hours earlier What an absolute clown he is
-

By PAT HICKEY, The GazetteApril 23, 2010 2:03 AM Twenty months ago, the Canadiens and their owner, George Gillett Jr., were on top of the world. The team was about to launch its centenary celebrations and there were high hopes for a 25th Stanley Cup. The team finished first in the Eastern Conference standings the previous season. They were eliminated by the more physical Philadelphia Flyers during the second round of the playoffs, but general manager Bob Gainey addressed the club's lack of toughness by signing heavyweight Georges Laraque. As for Gillett, he owned two iconic franchises - the Canadiens and Liverpool FC - and had moved into NASCAR with the purchase of Evernham Motorsports. Today, the Canadiens and Gillett are struggling. The Canadiens are facing an early exit from the playoffs for the second year in a row. There are only a handful of players left from the team that finished first in 2007-08, and there's little reason to believe the Canadiens can be any better than a middle-of-the-pack team for the foreseeable future. Gillett sold the Habs to a group headed by Geoff Molson last year, and it appears his days as a sports mogul are coming to an end. The accepted wisdom when Gillett sold the Canadiens was that he would use his windfall profits to maintain his hold on Liverpool. He had wrung every possible dollar out of the Canadiens and the concert business based at the Bell Centre, and Liverpool offered more room for growth, particularly if he and partner Tom Hicks could deliver on their promise to build a new soccer stadium. But Gillett and Hicks, who have never won the hearts of the passionate Liverpool supporters, have thrown in the towel during the past week. After months of saying they had no intention of selling the club, they announced they are looking for someone to come up with $1.22 billion. Most analysts believe they will have trouble getting $900 million. That would represent a windfall profit that would be particularly welcome for Hicks, who is also selling the Texas Rangers baseball team and the NHL's Dallas Stars. Getting their price might be difficult for Gillett and Hicks, whose relationship has been as stormy as the relationship between the Liverpool owners and the fans. The fans have a right to be upset. While Gillett was a good owner for the Canadiens, the fact is Liverpool is not the same team it was when Gillett and Hicks bought it. This season, the Reds were bounced during the early rounds of the lucrative Champions League competition. They stand seventh in the English Premier League, which means they are unlikely to qualify for next year's Champions League competition. The team has a deal for the naming rights for the new stadium, but there's no sign of a shovel going into the ground. As for NASCAR, Gillett aligned himself with another icon when he merged Evernham with Petty Enterprises. But the team has been spectacularly unsuccessful. Notice he mentions that a deal for the naming rights has already been done But Gillett's son, Foster, said this week that the Gillett family remains committed to NASCAR.
