Mista Canizaries? Can't remember the keepers name Aimar Ayala Aurelio To mention a few all played a part for Valencia. Not to mention the fact they where in the CL Final twice prior to Rafa taking charge.

No I don't, I just think to over achieve something you actually have to achieve something. We finished 5th and won the Champions League - Over Achievement We finished 3rd and won the FA Cup-Achievement We finished 3rd again and got to the final - Not an over achievement. We finished 2nd and no trophies - Achievement in the sense we got our act together in the end, but certainly not an over achievement. You do Rafa and the players a disservice, not just here but at Valencia. He has had quality at his disposal and at Valencia it was no different.

What where your original expectations this summer DH?

He didn't really over achieve. He won the league and UEFA Cup with quality players. Real Madrid and Barca where going through a transition period, however don't get me wrong what he did achieve was incredibly impressive. He only over achieved once here and that was the CL Win.

I don't mind Kuyt in the following side Torres Gerrard Riera/Yossi Masch Lucas/Aqui Kuyt I just think in our current situation, especially with the lone striker in Ngog with Kuyt on the wing, well it doesn't work. Nor does it work playing Kuyt upfront on his own. We have dynamic players, they can play in numerous positions.

And he's won the league with him numerous times and a EC.

But don't we have better options to play there than him now I.E Yossi or Gerrard? If we play the 2 DM with SG and FT on the wings Kuyt is an excellent asset.

It actually gets hostile in the house regarding Kuyt. I love him, genuinely I just think he is undroppable in Benitez eyes, regardless of how bad he plays.

I loved Heskey, although he was never dropped, and he was played out of position.

I can, I remember screaming at Houllier to bring Heskey off at the 2002/2003 final. Incidentally, I remember Sabre asking me 'Who was the best manager in the world?' and I looked down at him and said 'Houllier' with big blue puppy eyes.
