In comes Divock
2019 – Belgian forward Divock Origi signed a new contract, just a few days after scoring in the UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid. On the same day, reserves midfielder Danny Guthrie joined Bolton Wanderers on loan. He made 35 senior appearances for the Trotters, netting just once, in his debut in a 2-1 League Cup Third Round victory at Fulham.

The Chilean international signed from Albacete Balompié for £1.5m in October 2005, although he was not granted a work permit until the following July. Reds firsts
2001 - We faced Bayer 04 Leverkusen in a pre-season friendly in Lustenau, Austria, winning 3-2 thanks to a late deflected Jamie Redknapp free-kick, with strike pairing Michael Owen and Emile Heskey also netting. This was new signing John Arne Riise’s first outing for the reds.
2018 – Winger Rafa Camacho scored his only reds goal as we won a friendly 3-2 at Tranmere Rovers. Sheyi Ojo and Adam Lallana both also struck before the break to hand us a three-goal lead, with keeper Loris Karius at fault for one of the goals.

The unlucky keeper was signed from Danish side Hvidovre, but never made a first team appearance, despite being named on the bench 28 times.
