In 'Top 5 Opposition Players', of the 19 other clubs 12 pickes Stevie G. Offenders were Villa, Portsmouth, Barcodes, Chelsea, West Ham, Spudz and the bitters (obviously). Boro & Charlton both picked Xabi, Chelski guy picked Riise!!

In best/worst away fans we got mentions for good fans from Brum, Chelski & The Hammers. Blues**** nominated us as the worst - 'Stuck in the Seventies'.

In 'Top Hate Figures' the bitter moron went for Gerrard & Rooney. West Ham went for Luis cos his theatrics cost Hayden Mullins a final place.

For further comedy value there's a 'Team Of The Year' and 'Flops of The Year' based on fans votes recorded through the year - no reds made either but.... Essien was voted in worst (avg 4.5/10) and, this is the best bit..... there were 3 of the blus**** (mid table nothing team remember)..... Yobo (8.5/10) Hibbert (9/10) and Arteta (9.5/10):lol::wacko:

Comedy reading wasn't it?

The funniest thing was when the Everton lad said about Gerrard getting sent off in the derby always raising a smile. Still smiling at the end, f***stick? And be honest - it was more like fullblown celebration rather than just a smile, wasn't it? They just set themselves up everytime.

There were also two tremendously funny letters - one about the Utd fan last week who said he didnlt give a s*** if Rooney was fit for England as long as he was ok for Utd and one from a Chelsea fan whinging about an article last week saying how hated they are. I'll swear they were printed just because they were clearly written by a couple of pseudo-fan whoppers and the paper knew the hilarity they would cause.

Paul Wislon and Will Buckley aside, the Observer sports stuff is excellent.

Agree totally, it always passes afew hours on Sunday morning. Wilson started bad and gets worse by the week - he's done a few of our match reports lately which have borne little resemblance to the game and made claims of fans opinions which are just plain wrong. Today he claims that theres nothing wrong with Highbury - obviously never sat on the back row of the bottom tier and not seen anything that happened for the last 20 mins of a match.

The bitter who writes for the fans forum is from bluekipper which is just a plain disgrace. Even one of me blue mates is embarrased by the bitter s**** that gets spouted on there - its people like him who are responsible for the current bad atmos between the fans.

The Observer thing is voted each week by supporters of their own teams. Arsenal fans give marks out of 10 for Arsenal players and so on... that's why there are three Everton players in there. They give them ridiculous marks - Evertonians I know think Hibbert hasn't been all that great, and Yobo's missed nearly half a season!
