Feyenoord have tailed off toward the end of the season, Eindhoven having already won the title. If they don't make the CL again...our money make look shiny and too much to ignore. Anyway - according to Simon, from when he first mentioned this, a deal was as in place as it could be and the implication was that it was the player not the club who were pushing for it. So what the club want may not count for much.

 

I suppose it is a world cup year too - if he does particularly well or particularly badly, then maybe anything could happen.
