Just effectively resigned

Long story but I have just emailed my boss (who is a top fella and I have worked with for several years btw -he's the one who promoted me to my current position) saying that in present circumstances the best impact that I can have on the business is to remove my cost from the overheads as I'm not allowed to do the stuff that earned me the promotion in the first place.

 

Basically some feckers are trying to nationally control policy when my business model in Cheshire makes more money than the whole of their Essex and London businesses combined (and believe me they have much more potential than my business).

 

It's a bluff call but f*** it. If it fails I can go and find Steve and once that's done I guess the post office are always taking on staff.

 

Man I feel emancipated!
