New iPod on its way?

Has anybody heard anything about a new iPod?

 

There's rumours that Apple are going to make an announcement around their thirtieth anniversary which is at the start of April.

 

There's some talk of an iPod which just doesn't have the buttons but a huge touch sensitive screen instead, so when it's touched the control wheel appears.

 

Obviously it's just speculation but I'm thinking of getting a new iPod don't know whether to hold on.
