Guest ziggystardust Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 we beat the chavs when it mattered last time. I think we will do them if we get meet again, we just need to concentrate on set pieces.
Guest Kev Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 If we are going to win the cup then we'll have to face Chelsea either in the semis or the final itself.
Guest Les Howard Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I'd sooner face them in the semi than the final Ditto. Don't care what past results say - they do not like playing us as we don't fear them. All I ask is a little luck and a fair referee and we'll be ok.
Jezzman Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 If we are going to win the cup then we'll have to face Chelsea either in the semis or the final itself. Not if West Ham beats them in the other semi final.......
Big E Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 (edited) Chavs in the semi for me i think. losing to them at Cardiff was awful, my first final defeat in 8. I'd rather get them out of the way now, I mean it's not as if the likes of Boro will beat them Edited March 24, 2006 by Big E
12twelve Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Cheers for that, we'll win the whole thing anyway, not bothered who we get
Kahnee Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 My money is on Charlton in the semis (have a feeling they'll get past Boro) and Chelsea in the final
Sara Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 If Charlton do win that'll be three feckin London clubs in the semis
Gomez Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Ditto. Don't care what past results say - they do not like playing us as we don't fear them. All I ask is a little luck and a fair referee and we'll be ok.Never beaten them (Rafa v Mourinho) with a British ref.
Woodsyla Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Remember last season, Utd and Arsenal in the hat, same thing with us and Chelsea, it's the final the FA want so we wont draw each other. Not like I believe these things are rigged or anything
floyd Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 West Ham V Chelsea - Villa Park/CardiffLiverpool v Charlton - Castle Greyskull/ Cardiff
anny road Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 am I right in assuming the semi's are not in Cardiff this year?
floyd Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 (edited) am I right in assuming the semi's are not in Cardiff this year?Yep, but seeing as we are the only north west team in their and the rest are from That London, can imagine the cries of Ada and Barry the barrow boy if we get to play at Greyskull. Could possible be a re-think. Edited March 24, 2006 by floyd
anny road Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Yep, but seeing as we are the only north west team in their and the rest are from That London, can imagine the cries of Ada and Barry the barrow boy if we get to play at Greyskull. Could possible be a re-think. nah...the schedules willl have been agreed ages ago..if they are not in Cardiff not they wont be after the draw It is dead simple surely... If we play Chelsea, Charlton or WHU it will be at Villa If we play Boro it will be at Old Trafford
floyd Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Boro might still go through Forgot about them. Must be still bloody asleep after watching that match last night.
Big E Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 If Charlton do win that'll be three feckin London clubs in the semis that's good news, means we get the North end of the Millenium
Sara Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Forgot about them. Must be still bloody asleep after watching that match last night. I didn't watch it
