Gedge's recent obsession with making as much cash out of the fanbase as possible, the tight Yorkshire get compiling his single releases continues unabated on 1 May 2006 with the release of "Search For Paradise", a compilation of the tracks from the last few singles.

Interestingly (for total saddo's like me), the "Search for Paradise" was the title of the fourth travelogue in the Cinerama series of films of the 1950's. The first two films in the series have had their titles ("This Is Cinerama" and "Cinerama Holiday") were used for the two existing compilations of Cinerama singles.

Perhaps the title of the third film ("Seven Wonders of the World") is being kept aside for the outstanding compilation of the tracks from the later Cinerama singles "Health & Efficiency", "Quick, Before It Melts", "Careless", "Don't Touch That Dial" and "It's Not You, It's Me". We can but hope.

We'll bring you news of the propsed Peel Sessions Box Set and live DVD when we have them.
