Arsenal at home

gael clichy is training again. don't know if he's back for tuesday though.

as hansen pointed out on MOTD, larsson at left-back hasn't a clue. in his defence he is a midfielder. but get gerrard onto him and kewell going at flamini.

I thought Hansen was unfair on the lad, using his 20/20 hindsight to form an opinion. How the **** was Larsson supposed to mark Davies and cover the run of Nolan ?

Hansen is beginning to sound more like Lawrenson with every passing MOTD.

We're playing like we shouldn't bother showing up at the moment. Whats the point of showing up if you don't even attack properly? Steven Gerrard isn't always going to find the net with one of his greedy but admirable attempts at goal. If you took Gerrard and his long drives away we would be in deep s***.

'Long drive'? Has he taken up f***ing golf? And is this the same player who you have been slagging off in other threads? (Or was that an attempt at humour?).

We all know that our options up front leave a lot to be desired but no point showing up? Christ, you have posted some s**** in the last few days, most of which I've ignored, but this takes the f***ing biscuit.

Our striking options were just as limited during the unbeaten run, and most if us weren;t getting carried away then cos we knew we were still a work in progress. Were you as miserable and critical then? If not, then you are having a major over reastion now.

Get behind them. Fowler has shown flashes of encouraging form, Xabi is top class, we have Garcia to come back in at some point and a vastly improved Kewell. Recent poor results have been down to individual errors from a previously solid back line. When those stop (which they will), we'll be back on track.

yes, they should have.

no you shouldnt.

you have the advantage and you should win against arsenal.

things doesnt always go like they should, doesnt change the fact that you should win.

arsenals away statistics are absolutely horrible as well

Man Utd were very disappointing. Liverpool are the better team.

The only thing I can think of is that Arsenal will come to Anfield thinking they could get something which may lead to gaps in their own defence.

We don't have the attacking threat to defeat Arsenal. They may have a dodgy defence but we hardly look capable of taking advantage of that whilst simultaneously withstanding their quality attacking play.

This will be a draw.

The midfield is not getting into the box as often as they used to. Don't know if it was tactics yesterday but all our midfielders seem to stay outside it when attacking.
