Highways Agency/Minister of Transport

Found out the other day that as a traffic flow measure they are going to put traffic lights on the Eastbound slip road at Junction 11 of the M62, (which is the junction I use in the mornings) to aid the flow of traffic on the motorway. I've emailed the Highways agency who have said this will stop too much traffic trying to join the M62 at one time at that particular junction, therefore allowing the traffic to flow easier on the motorway making the journey quicker for those already on the motorway. They didn't answer my point that it would add to my journey time while i have to wait in the inevitable queue of traffic waiting for the lights to go green. I cant even continue to deal with the highways agency rep for my area as he has given me the details of a another rep in a different area because he has gone into hospital and isn't sure when he will be back to work.

This is as a result of the government agreeing a £6million plan to allow this to happen and if it is successful they will use it on other junctions around the motorway network. Apparently it worked ok on one junction of the M6 in near birmingham and works ok abroad, i dont care about them i just dont want to take longer to get to work because of these stupid schemes!!!!
