Its been discussed but, players falling over and crying curder with the slightest touch is terrible in a game that has very slight contact compared to other games eg Ice Hockey.

Last night in Belfast... Linfield (who haven't been beaten yet this season, only dropping 2 points along the way) were playing ballymena in the Co Antrim Shield.

Anyhow towards the end, with linfield winning 2-1, a Ballymena 'fan' tossed a pint glass from the stands which smacked NI goalie Allan Mannus on the head. Instead of rolling the ground he walked away towards the ref.

Well done Allan, and Robben (and all other players) take note.

Any player who over reacts should be yellow carded. Only fear is would any match actually finish!?

it's incredible how the instinctive reaction of any footballer who has been slightly hurt anywhere is to fall to the ground.

their balance must really be poor from all that football training.

Robben should have been booked for his ballet dancing & then again for going down like he'd been shot.

THAT would have been funny

It wouldn't have been funny, it would've been correct.

The thing i find most disturbing about diving is that having trained under 14's they tend to do the same. They have grown up with seeing this schite and its becoming more and more prevalent. If something is not done now it can only get worse.

Personally i think we should start by making an example of Robben by executing him.
