buying a house in Liverpool (vicinity)

me and the wife are planning on moving house this year and want to start scoping out areas. We have a fairly decent grasp of the surrounding areas as she is a distric nurse so sees alot of the areas of Liverpool.

We currently live in Liverpool (L12) in Croxteth Country Park, but the house is too small for us (2 bedroom semi)

We are looking at property around £220,000 to £300,000 preferably. We have looked at Cronton, Aigburth, Halewood, Woolton and Childwall. My current favourite has to be Cronton, love the quietness and how handy it is for M62/M57, plus I work in Speke so its pretty handy for that too.

Has anyone got any ideas for more nice areas we can add to the list?... We are looking for 3-4 bedroom, Garage, gardens... the usual
