We're still the best in the world.  ;)

Of all the comebacks, this "bitter" label I've had to endure from some people on here really is pathetic.

Should I be bitter that we lost a Test Series to the mighty England who then went on to lose a Test Series and a One Day Series against Pakistan.

Another thing, I tipped England to win this Ashes series, so why the fook should I be "bitter".

Keep w@nking yourselves silly over this England side that includes the likes of Geraint Jones MBE. I enjoy it, it shows the poms up for what they really are...

who said you weren't?

so how did you lose a series to such a poor team with such poor players?

That fat gormless SOD just made a ton last Test

The man was absolutely brilliant until the Ashes. Since then he's gone missing and been replaced by a fat, gormless, sod.

...and why does one innings redeem a string of crap?

Geez and all it needed was some runs on the board. Its a simple game innit, Graeme.

I hope our captain can show good form in the ODIs as he clearly has spent too much time throwing red herrings at the Aussie media. Seems to have worked tho ;)

Have you been watching him bat at all after the Ashes?

Since the 5th Test at the Oval, he's scored 4 or even 5 tons including that Oval ton

He's abandoned that cavalier crap and actually batting like a normal batsman (Still gets some stupid rush of blood), if there's any batsman in any trouble in the current side, it won't be him

Hardly "one innings" or "a string of crap", he's made more tons than failures this Aus summer.

According to Cricinfo he's averaging 77.72 in his last six matches.

Fat gormless sod indeed.

every team needs a Kallis though who can hold up one end.. Im a bit pissed off with him getting Gibbs who was playing a gem of an inning run out..

and thats why there are always people saying that he plays for his average (not me though).

We could have done with some of this fecking rain in Melbourne.

to an extent I agree with these people.. I have to say that in Australia visiting teams get more wrong decisions than any where else in the world.. I think its time that video umpiring is introduced for all aspects of the game..

Sometimes the team in need of quick runs can collapse (its happened before), so I don't mind JK holding an end up.

Risk a loss in order to win, no risk no glory and all that

If he's afraid of collapsing then he should take up some less risky occupations

And he ain't just holding an end up, he was holding the entire bloody team up
