growler Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Interesting reason why we could be doing more than normal. this ‘extra’ window in June could that mean these transfers count in last year for financial psr?

Pretty sure the PSR accounting year runs 1 July - 30 June so it shouldn't have any effect. If you remember last summer teams like Newcastle and Villa were racing to get deals done by the end of June so that they could use the profit from the sales to make them compliant. It's why we saw s***e academy players being exchanged for well over their true value

Was he playing against us in the loss the other week? Can’t remember if it was him or not that dribbled through us time and time again. He’s a great player wasted in a crap team.

No he didn't play, and no he's not a great player I'd rather keep Nunez than waste time on someone like him 1

They made a bunch of subs and seem to have an endless stream of players I don’t know anymore.

Means if we do sign Frimpong and wirtz in this little window, the cost goes into same year as last year, when we go more head room, the chiesa window then we sell Nunez and others in July/august, goes into a different reporting year. The mini window makes no difference. The summer window was open in June last year and it’s open in June this year, just at slightly different times. If clubs need to deal then for PSR purposes then they can do. We don’t have PSR issues so the stuff you mention will make very little difference to us.

My boss is actually a very decent human despite being a Chelsea fan, and he has told me many times how utterly useless and clueless Nkunku is. He's also gonna be 28 in November, so together with his injuries, would really be little point getting him (not that I think we're really interested).

I just looked at the highlights and it was Madueke that looked class. Whatever happened to the Ukraine fella they bought for a crazy amount of money that other than being fast seemed totally crap at football. Is he still there?
