Hadn't he already signed Mac A, Szobo by the time the Caicedo and Lavia stuff happened? Think Grav and Endo came in after both of those didn't happen.

Mac Allister was signed but Ward is credited with the leg work on that deal IIRC. Not sure if Szobo came next but sounds about right.

We signed Szoboslai in early July, the Caicedo thing was mid August, then we bid for Lavia straight after, s*** that bed, then signed Endo immediately.

LFC History has signing dates for Mac A on 8 June, Szobo on 2 July, Endo on 18 August and Grav on 1 September - the Caicedo mess happened mid August
