hang on, i've heard of terminal velocity. at a certain speed the force of gravity equals the force of air resistance and that means you dont fall any faster and drop at a constant speed.

 

so really if you drop from 1,000m or 100,000m doesnt make a difference

 

so what's so special about this dude?

 

Well, on the plus side, if Kahnee had posted it then the guy would be dead. So in a way I'm a hero.

Don't think they're selling on the two being linked. They're two independent records aren't they, highest speed of freefall and highest freefall.

 

I'm no physicist but would air resistance not being hugely less from where he jumped from therefore making a higher terminal velocity possible?
