Kenny and Goodison Park

[Andy @ Allerton]

I wonder how Kenny will feel about this fixture given that last time he stepped foot into Goodison Park as a Liverpool FC manager was the 4-4 where he later resigned? I wonder how the Everton faithful will greet him (You would hope there would be a little bit of dignity and grace about them- but I fear the worst on that score).

This is the game (Albeit the 4-4 was the FA Cup) where he said he knew what to do, what to change - but he just couldn't do it. The day that the turmoil and strain finally told, leading to his resignation a couple of days later.

Going to feel strange being there and seeing him in the dugout. Brilliant as well.

Was his last appearance there as manager the time Newcastle put them out of the FA Cup courtesy of an Ian Rush goal?
