I was looking for information about a disused chemical factory in Wallasey and stumbled upon a hobby group or subculture that I wasn't aware of. The forum, with pictures of this building is my linl - 28 days later - urban explorers forum

 

they basically go round disused buildings and take pictures of them. I can kind of see some of the interest with this particular building as I was in there fairly recently for work. Its like a sci fi set. There's a shower block, almost completely blacked rooms, broken tiles and debris scattered around, with haz chem suits hanging up. Wing rattling through the steel structure of this cavernous factory. It was really eery.

Wouldn't go back in there for a day out like the people on this forum do though.
