I have 2 of the Samsungs in that range, one of them a bit smaller.

They are superb, picture quality is excellent, 4 HDMI ports

Its full HD but the Panasonic one is HD ready. i think there is a difference there but someone in the forum will know better.

I have that exact Samsung i bought it a couple of months ago and have to say I'm very happy with it.

The samsung has a media port where you can plug a usb into it and play any movies, music or look at photos that are stored on it, which i use regularly.

I also bought it from amazon and only paid £359 for it so keep an eye on the price as it seemed to change every other day.

why does the Panasonic say HD ready then ?

Is that not something different to full HD ?

Look at the spec in the link - it's full HD.

HD Ready just means it can accept 1080p signals - it doesn't necessarily mean it's not full HD as well.

Be careful about the size though. I was all up for buying a massive TV (40in+), but then our lounge is only about 3.5m wide, so we sit about 2.5m from the TV. At that distance, 32in is more than enough, any closer and the picture looks s***.

Richer Sounds are notorious for the inability to actually have stock in their stores for these 'in store only' offers.

went to buy the RS one today.

They had it priced up at £450 I said thats online for £400. They said I could have it for £400 but had to take that one which was on display.

I said f*** that!

Back to the drawing board!

cheers for all the replies tho chaps!
