Attempted terror attack

Some nutjob tries to blow the plane coming into our local airport (Detroit). Claims to be alqaeda (is a nigerian who claims he got training in Yemen). Manages to burn off his pants before being subdued. Back to having to have the little one's milk tested at security now......

More importantly why would anyone try to blow up plane coming in to Detroit? As if we haven't suffered enough already. Parts of the city already resemble Yemen anyway.....
