Here's an odd one....

Jason Statham was born on 12th September 1972 (37), according to his Wiki page

He played football for his grammar school between 1978 and 1983. Also according to his wiki. So either he went to grammar school at 6 years old, or he's managed to be born earlier than his Wiki would suggest. I was at grammar school, in the same town, between 1977 and 1982 and I was 44 yesterday and know people he was at his school (with him). Not a very cockernee bloke either, unless Gt Yarmouth is now in the east end.

Wiki, inaccurate? shurelynot

I looked at this as I was listening to Guy Ritchie (see Top Gear thread) and have not heard him speak before. Hearing his accent, I said to the wife "he's not as cockernee and working class as he makes out". Turns out, from wiki that his mum married a Baronet when he was 5 and so the mean streets of Walthamstow were hardly likely to be his manor, more a public school in Hampshire ....
