was talking earlier about the dearth of good coffee in New York - a place where you get the impression coffee is heaven....

 

Anyway, a friend was telling about how some of his friends are Italian and own a yacht, he used to go - pre-kids -on sailing holidays with them & they used to bring Nescafe instant along with them....I mean what the fu...? Nescafe? Italians?

 

So then we went down the slippery slope....Maxwell House all the way to Mellow Birds.

 

What the hell was Mellow Birds all about? I don't think I ever tasted it, but you don't need to to know how bad it must be
