Had an airline go bust on me and cancel flights.

Bought new ones feeling confident i'd be able to claim for the cancelled from travel insurers.

 

Been told theres no chance on 3 occasions now, using different paragraphs of the policy to justify it.

 

i was sure this was one of the main things besides theft and medical attention that would be covered by travel insurance. apparently not.

 

anyone have any experience with this? i'm trying to get it back from my credit card now.

 

first time i've tried to claim, not confident they'd pay out in any circumstances now, which is a little scary.
