From The Telegraph:

Rafael Benitez is set to be charged by UEFA over an alleged illegal approach for a wonderkid from Finland. HJK Helsinki claim the Liverpool manager contacted their 19-year-old attacking midfielder Pal Forisol despite being refused official permission.

The highly-rated youngster had been tipped for a call-up to Finland’s national team ahead of their match with Wales, but was eventually overlooked. Benitez had hoped to beat the rest of the Premier League pack to Forisol’s signature after Reds centre-back Sami Hyypia recommended him.

But the Finnish side are alleging that Benitez took his pursuit of the youngster too far and refused to take no for an answer. Club spokesman Antti Kopainen said: “We have sumitted a dossier to UEFA showing that Liverpool clearly broke the rules in their attempts to sign Pal Forisol. We expect justice to run its course.”

Forisol has been likened to former Liverpool player and compatriot Jari Litmanen in his homeland.

Shouldn't these stories have an element of shock or unreality, but be somehow plausible?

Even if this was true it would be 'so what?'

Bloody press bias.

Why did they pick Rafa to be the subject and not Ferguson or Wenger or Hiddink??

Huh??

Scum!

Because they do not have a solid Finnish player playing for them. Bias is sometimes in our minds.
