Broken ankle

[Gravy]

My 10 year old lad broke his ankle last week playing footy for the school. Pretty bad break (both tib and fib) and the bones were displaced and had a metal plate put in and now in plaster for 6 weeks. Pretty concerning to say the least. Also had to put the wire through his growth plate.

 

Anyone on here had anything similar happen to them? Prognosis if so??
