does anyone know about importing?

does anyone happen to work in this sector?

 

I'm aware of all the 'helpful' govt websites and Business Link but they turn out to be.....'unhelpful'

 

really basic stuff too, import duties on booze and the like is what I'm after

 

btw just to kill this point dead now so there's no distraction: I want to see if it's worth importing ale directly from Europe and China to serve at forthcoming project (exciting thread to follow in due course)

 

if it works out, and on the off chance that we actually open and stay in business, it will mean we can get things like Augustiner lager, or nice little vintages from Spain and other top brands in, rather than what the supplier happens to have available
