Oracle v SQL Server ...

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone - Hope someone can help me out here ...

I've been a user of SQL Server Enterprise Manager (or Mgmt Studio) and Query Analyser for a few years...

I'm about to engage with a company whose DBMS is Oracle, which I'm unfamilair with...

Is there an Oracle equivalent of Query Analyser Mgmt Studio? Are there substantial differences between the way T-SQL statements (such as Select, Update etc..) are formed?

What would be a good 'Idiot's guide to Oracle?' from a T-SQL perspective?

Thanks

Steve
