I got an email which I cannot delete. When I try to delete it it says the "folder is full"

 

My deleted items folder only has email's from the last few days - about 100 or so. When i try to delete all these emails I get a message saying "the messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart outlook" This problem only started this week.

 

Anyone know what the problem might be?

 

I'm on XP, running office 2007. My outlook datafile is 621MB in size. Is that too big? Does it even matter? Do I need to archive old emails.
