How long is it now without a win in League games?

 

I know he's loved on here by some but with a load of s**** players or not that is a f***ing disgrace.

This is a definate case of "Promotion was the worse thing to happen to this club"

I've no idea why he chose to go there, weren't there offers from substantially better teams on offer to him at the time?

 

Can't help but feel that he had the opportunity to try his luck at the next step up and he bottled it.

he must have received some iron clad guarantees that he wouldn't lose his job. I can't remember a manager getting so much leeway with a club free falling through the leagues. You have to wonder if Jewell settled for a lesser team knowing they wouldn't fire him rather than taking a bigger challenge. His last season with Wigan seems nto have drained the confidence out of him.
