watched a programme on bbc america about transsexuals tonight. I'm not convinced. Call me a luddite if you like, but I don't see how you can be born into a body of the wrong sexual gender.

 

I don't believe that the sex-change ops are taken lightly, obviously people have to go through a hell of a lot of counseling beforehand, but - aside from being a hermaphrodite - how can you be born in the wrong body? If you're a bloke, you have the genitalia & the hormones that go with it; likewise for a woman. Is it that simple? I dunno.

 

Anyone know anything about it? Convince me, change my opinion.
