The lame in Manchester

I have never seen so many people in a city wandering/lolloping around on a crutch or pair of crutches as Manchester. It's really quite odd

Is the National Centre for the Lame located in central Manchester or something?

I used to think the same when I lived in Manchester. I decided it had something to do with having the shiut bombed out of it in the war, and it had a resultant affect on the gene pool there.

eh? it was liverpool that had the s*** bombed out of it

You're right, Liverpool was an important port and a logical target for the Germans, but most big cities were heavily bombed during WWII. Manchester became munitions manufacturing centre during the war and so became another target.

Chimps aren't designed to be bipeds. Walking upright all of time isn't good for their posture placing massive strain on their back and lower limbs, leading to an eventual dependence assisted walking apparatus.
