Home game to Pompey on Wed 29 October could be Boots Jnr III's first trip to Anny. Am I safe booking flights for this or is it one that might get shifted?

 

Young Boots is off Primary School on a Halloween break and flights are only £20 each way pp. No doubt Boots Jnr I will want to come too!

It may depend on our CL progression as that corresponding week last season was a league cup match.

If the game was fixed for midweek at the outset, then that week will not be a CL or League Cup fixtures week. I would say the only slim danger would be that it would be moved to the Tuesday for TV, but extremely unlikely. I'd say your safe enough to book the flights. Not a lot to lose at that price anyway.

 

By the way and off topic, but isn't 24th May very late for next season to finish ? That mean the Cup final is on 31st may ? Can't remember it being that late before.

Is not something to do with leaving a bigger gap somewhere for the national team or something.

That week is designated for league games. The only decision is if its on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. But it will definately be that week.

I would wait until the live games for that weekend are sorted. IE if us or Pompey are on the Sunday, then we will not be playing on the Tuesday.

 

It should be decided this week as Sky have had the fixtures for two weeks. I'm waiting as well to book time off.
