House prices again

We moved into our house in December due to an addition to the family. Both sides of a semidetached were for sale.

 

They both needed a fair bit of work doing to them but we went for the one in slightly better nick as the missus was nearly ready to drop. I reckon our house at the time was worth about £15,000 more than next door.

 

Just found out yesterday that next door have accepted an offer for £55,000 less than we paid for ours. 40 grand drop in 6 months. Living in Cheltenham i didn't expect the price here to take such a tumble so quickly.

 

Genuinely shocked and fairly gutted. f*** knows what our house will be wirth soon.

 

Plus side is we wont be moving for quite a few years
