What a gig!?!?!

 

Absolutely brilliant, as you'd expect from the master, but the crowd played it's part.

 

Is there another Floyd hotbed like it in the UK compared with Liverpool? I doubt it.

 

First time I've been to the Echo Arena, and I was impressed. Decent facilities on the whoel, good acoustics, expensice ale at £3.50 for 500ml, but you always get that these days, and the crowd were fantastic.

 

Roger Waters seemed to be buzzing of the crowd, and his words of "I've done this set about 165 times, and I can truly say that you are the best... You'll Never Walk Alone" seemed very genuine, and not just his saying it for the sake of saying it. His rapport with the crowd, and the obvious sheer joy he was getting from the crowd (from a usually somewhat miserable/serious/grumpy b*****d) amkes me think he may just have meant it!!
