Went to see the documentary last night - very good indeed.

 

Quite a bit of footage of the band that I had never seen before and probably the definitive account of the one of, if not the, greatest band of all time.

 

It's weird how the whole story kind of exploded again over the last year or two with both 'Joy Division' and 'Control' making it to the big screen but I think that with the death of Tony Wilson and the seemingly permanent split of New Order, this could and probably should be the last we hear for a while now.

 

The last great story in pop music?
