Bad day for my clothes

Whilst cooking some mashed potato I managed to set fire to my jumper

 

The weird thing was that I didn't realise it was on fire for ages. I could smell burning though, and looked down to see flames licking up the side of my jumper towards my armpit.

 

Thinking on my feet, I whipped the jumper off and stamped on it, but in doing this I managed to burn the kitchen floor, for which I got a b******ing off the wife. I didn't bother pointing out that I wasn't a monk in an anti war protest, and that the kitchen floor is probably a bit more hard wearing than my skin.

 

I then went into the living room, were the baby promptly threw up all over my tshirt.
