Can't say I blame him having been behind Stephen Carr and then played at left back in order to allow (the utterly useless and left-footed) John O'Shea to play right back.

That's good news. Arbeloa is still far to inconsistent defensively, having a fully focused Finnan is good for the squad.

Well I dont know, its only gone one way with Carra since he made his decision and thats not upwards, maybe they need to get away from Melwood from time to time and get some other input on the training pitch than what they get from Rafa.

Yes I do, Carra has been pure s**** since he turned down England, maybe he needs to get away to get some other input, thats what it means.

Maybe the challenge to actually get into the England team wouyld do him good, you never know?

Carra has not been "pure s***". You're talking nonsense.

Maybe that was a bit strong, but he has certainly not been good which was supposed to be one of the consequenses from him saying NO to England and only concentrate about Liverpool and raise his performances for us since he was supposed to be more fresh.

I cant see any evidence of this, Hyypia is a lot older, he is still travelling with Finland and he has outperformed Carra by some distance this season.

Personally I would drop him when Agger comes back(if he do), Hyypia-Agger should be first choice partnership in my book.

In fairness, I think Hyypia has been performing better than Carra for a good number of matches. Carra's dip in performance is probably a combination of Agger's absence and the number of games he has been playing. He needs a good rest.

They have started 33 and 26 matches this season, I think you would struggle to name 5 matches where Carra has been the better player of the two.
