aldo is loveable but he does come out with some garbage sometimes, especially during his radio city commentary.

I wanted GH out more than anything because he was ruining all the good work he'd done. It was sad to see.

 

I have some great memories from those years and the 2001 side is one of my favourites. Babbel was majestic and watching Owen and Heskey in attack - we haven't had that since. Also, two of my fav players in Litmanen and Gary Mac signed for the club.

as I recall, we al sadly felt that a man we admired and deeply respected was no longer right for the role.
