Not sure if this is the place ot ask this, but not having been to a Euro away game before, I'm wondering how best to get a ticket for the Inter away leg. Is it even a possibility, or am I just dreaming. Got all the home games for group stage on my fancard, but not a season ticket holder (yet  ). Flights are easy, but tickets I am not so sure...

Any ideas/advice greatfully received.

If this isnt the place to ask, apologies, and please remove the post.

There should be enough tickets for a General Sale to all Fancard Holders.

You will need to fill in a European Travel Form and send to the Ticket Office.

Just to let you know that having the home games doesn't improve your chances

I'm in the same boat as you. Hoping that the fact we should get a big allocation will mean i might get one

Fingers crossed for us both

That's interesting to know. I'd assumed that just as having the home games helped you get the next CL home game, it would help you get away tix. Now I stop to think about it, that would only make sense if previous away fixtures were on your card, I guess. Is it the case that an away game improves your chances for a Final ticket, or is that just rumour?

I reckon, from the sounds of it, I'll have a harder time convincing the wife than getting a ticket - especially as it's on our wedding anniversary - much negotiation lies ahead  . Maybe if I can get 2 tix I can treat her to a night in Milan - a beer and a pizza after the match should swing it  .

Anyway, as you say, here's hoping for us both.

They sell home CL tickets based on the home CL games you have been to and the away CL tickets based on the away CL games you have been to. So you and i are essentially in the same position as someone who has never been to a Liverpool game before.

For the final they sell tickets based on the amount of CL games you have been to. Home and away games count for the same. Last year you were only guaranteed a ticket if you had been to 7 or more games (for example all 6 home ones and one away). So yes, having an away game on your fancard should mean you get a ticket for the final IF we get there. Providing you go to all the home games as well.

Oh and qualifiers don't count

Makes sense. Bit of a b****r, though. Still, all sounds hopeful so it's off to the negotiating table for me :)
