Crouch is still suspended, isn't he? Kuyt & Voronin or Kuyt upfront by himself is a big so I reckon Rafa has no choice but to play Torres.

Aye, it would have been four games in a row with Sat Pompey, Wed Derby, Sun City, Wed Wigan, miss FA Cup Sun 6th Jan at Luton so 10 days rest with Crouch available then back for Sat PL 12th Jan away to Boro. Dandy

I'd love that. Not saying it's necessarily better but if you swap yossi for babel you'd have a front six with uncanny strength on the ball.

That will be the team for the rest of the season (agger deffo in for Sami and possibly Aurelio in for arbeloa) we'll go on a great run. I think it will mirror a couple of seasons ago when we settled on Kewell Sissoko Alonso Gerrard as our midfield and Crouch and Morientes up front. We didn't change it too much. I think our run will see us take second because the Mancs are too strong and hey'll beat us at OT

Unfortunately, I suspect you're right and Utd are going to cruise it. A 2nd place finish is definitely possible, though.

I will be very disappointed if we don't finish above Chelsea and arsenal this season
