Going back to education - advice needed

I've been offered another job which is still within the same industry but it's a completely different role to what I'm currently doing.

 

As part of the move I'm looking at going for a marketing diploma or a similar / better qualification so that I have the appropriate education to go along with my industry experience. I'll still be working full-time so I'll need something on a part time basis or a distant learning programme.

 

Can anyone shed any light on what's advisable to go for and also what kind of financial outlay I should expect?

 

I'm fine with the personal and time commitment outside of work but I really need to get a grip on what kind of course would be best suited both careerwise and financially.
