Dog, meet cats

Wife came home from volunteer dog walking on Saturday with a grin on her face - seems she'd found the pooch she'd been hoping for.

Sunday I met him, and apart from needing to lose weight and deteriorating eyesight he's perfect.

So, today was the home visit - where the Dogs Trust assessed how he got on with the moggies and vice versa.

Dog arrived, black cat took one look, arched back, hissed, jumped on the windowsill. Otherwise OK.

Ginger idiot bowled up, reciprocal sniffing ensued, all was well. Dog was then taken into living room, where Ginger idiot was hiding by the coffee table. Dog didn't notice him, so Ginger idiot hit him. Dog took offence to this, and went to bite his feline assailant.

The dog moves in on Saturday
