Been watching Sunderland in three games this season and I must say Keane did well spending 9m on that bloke. Really impressed me so far. Seems very reliable, excellent shot stopper and is never caught when on excursions in the box. Think he'll be with one of the bigger clubs in a couple of years.

He cost them the game today but everyone makes mistakes and he does seem alright overall.

Haha, didn't see the goal. Typical me to write someone up like then finding out he screwed up.

 

However I did see him pull off a few very good saves in the first half.

It wasn't like he had a simple catch and dropped it mistake but he still come for the ball, got nowhere near it giving Saha an open goal. It was a f*** up. You'd be ripping Carson to bits if he done that.

To be honest if I was Sunderland's goalkeeper I'd try and come for every cross and ball I could. I wouldn't trust the defence enough to let them handle it.

the standard of goalkeeping so far this season seems to be ever so shoite. Lucky for us, we have the best in the league, but all around there just seems to be more and more goalie fec ups.

 

Anyone see the highlights of Fulham v Spurs yesterday? It was like goalie clown school with Niemi and Robinson in nets.

 

Gordon looks a good goalie though, and for 9m, he has to!

When will that fat f***** Robinson learn that when you dont lift from the ground when you try to jump you need to stand closer to your line to be able to save shots, the b*****d cost me more than £200 yesterday.
