Flights to Liverpool from London?

I'll be making my way to the UK in October for the Arsenal home game and was wondering whether it would be possible to fly out of London (Luton perhaps) to get into Liverpool, and if possible, who does them?

 

I've tried Easyjet and Ryanair but they don't seem to do them.
