Heading to a casino for the first time tonight. Does anyone have any tips to avoid me leaving in tears?

 

I am already aware that the house always wins and that, but I've heard things like the croupier (or whatever they're called) are paid bonuses the more 0s they get on the roulette wheel, so you should go for the numbers around that. Any truth in that?

 

Or should I just always bet on black, a la Wesley Snipes?
