Odd words people use

I have never known anyone other than one of my best mates to use the word "gip" (with a hard "g")

 

Anyone else use/know this word? I am far too polite to tell those who don't know it what it means - but suffice to say it is used to describe something you enjoys on your own...

 

Any other strange words out there that only seem to be used by a few odd balls?
